Sample Menu - Saturday
French Bread Pizza
1 loaf French bread sliced olives
pizza sauce sliced mushrooms
chopped green pepper mozzarella cheese
pepperoni
Cut French bread in half lengthwise. Spread with pizza sauce. Arrange
desired toppings on sauce and sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 400 for 10
minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Pizza Sauce
1can tomato sauce ½ teaspoon garlic
½ teaspoon oregano ½ teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon cayenne 1/3 teaspoon pepper
Combine all ingredients in sauce pan. Bring to boil. Lower heat and
simmer for 10 minutes.
Ranch Dressing
2 cups buttermilk ½ teaspoon garlic
2 cups mayonnaise powder
1 ½ tablespoon parsley ½ teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon dry onion 1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon Accent
Mix together with wire whisk and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Banana Splits
For each banana split, slice a banana in half lengthwise and place
in bottom of a bowl. Add 2 scoops vanilla ice cream. Top with Hot Fudge
Sauce and sprinkle with sliced almonds.
Hot Fudge Sauce
1 ½ cups sugar 1 cube butter
1/3 cup cocoa 1 cup evaporated milk
½ cup corn syrup 1 tablespoon vanilla
Mix sugar and cocoa in saucepan. Add corn syrup, butter and milk. Cook
over medium heat until butter is melted and mixture starts to boil.
Lower heat to low and cook for 5 to 10 minutes. Remove from heat and
stir in vanilla. |
